I love the intensity of colour available in art glass ... it's unlike any other medium.

Mixing transparent and opaque glass further adds to the richness.

Here I'm working on the fish in my latest "Under the sea" panel - hot colours only 🔥🔥🔥

The tools you see here are a Toyo pencil cutter, and Silberschnitt running pliers.

Of course the video doesn't show every step of cutting and breaking the glass - it'd take far too long ... but the running pliers have an adjustable head which I align with the score.

Then I repeatedly press on the score to break it, realigning the head as I move along the curve. This gives the best chance of the glass breaking where I want it to!
