Glass Art Knick-knacks: Pink art glass love heart dish
Glass Art knick-knacks
One of my Glass Art knick-knacks collection, this love heart bowl is made with 14 individual pieces of coloured art glass in pinks and reds, both opaque and transparent to let the light through.
Its many colours catch the light beautifully. The heart contains iridescent glass, which changes colour as the light passes over it - quite beautiful!
The pattern was originally designed by me for Valentines Day - but I think that hearts are a perfect gift, loved throughout the year!
For a small ornament, it's got a lot of detail - I added glass stringers to the surface to emphasise parts of the design.
The glass is ¼” thick, making it quite heavy for its size - it’s a lovely weight!
This bowl comes with a discrete clear acrylic stand so it can be displayed vertically on a shelf or windowsill if you prefer.
It’s a lovely geegaw for the one you love - a beautiful trinket for any home!

About my work
As with all my Glass Art knick-knacks, this piece is designed and made to the same exacting and meticulous standards as pieces costing ten times more.
Each of my glass objects are one of a kind - I never do identical objects. Even where the design is similar, they all have a unique colour combination.
During the glass fusing, small air bubbles can appear and become trapped within the glass. This is a natural occurrence that adds to the beauty of handmade glass products.
Care of your glass
Even the strongest glass can break, so please handle your glass art with care.
When needed, dust it with a lint-free cloth, or wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Don't use an abrasive cleaner as this could scratch it.
Because of the handmade nature of glass, please don’t put it in a microwave or dishwasher.
Certificate of Authenticity
Handmade in the UK in my Glass Studio in West Lancashire, my glass art comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity, plus a small discrete “Linda” signature etched on the back of the glass, so you can be sure your piece is an original work
