Chequer: Reimagined
It’s now possible for you to commission a reimagined version of this outstanding roundel artwork, even though the original Chequer has already gone to a good home in the UK.
Commissioning Chequer: Reimagined is your opportunity to own a brand new version of this celebrated artwork.
Your new creation will follow the same structural & colour guidelines as the original Chequer, but as an entirely new work, fashioned within the boundaries that Chequer sets.
You can now own a new artistic creation, something you and those close to you will enjoy forever.
If you’re interested, write to me and tell me what you have in mind. Let’s inspire each other!
As a free bonus, you can also have 2 iconic glass coasters (worth $240) in the Chequer style as conversation starters to complement your new original artwork.
The Chequer back story
This Art Glass sculpture, a geometric design with black and white chequers, is a really striking piece of fused glass artwork.
Designed in my unique Hard Edge Glass style, it's a one-off piece of glass art, filling any space with colour and light.
It is supplied with a custom-made wrought iron stand to show it off to its best.
Developed in December 2022, the Chequer glass disc is made with a mix of coloured art glass spanning the rainbow in greens, blues, reds, yellows, clear and white, using both transparent and opaque glass.
Glass rods (stringers) enhance the lines of the fused glass art, and really catch the light.
The round glass artwork is 18¼” round, and ¼” thick - or 470mm by 6mm
This large size ensures it's really impactful.
The Hard Edge geometric design is unique, creating a stand-out piece for your home - or a perfect wedding or housewarming gift.
Handmade in the UK in my Glass Studio in West Lancashire, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity - signed by me, Linda Rossiter, so you can be sure that your piece is original.
